About Gradium

Gradium is a frontier voice AI company on a mission to redefine how humans interact with machines.

Voice remains the most human, highest-stakes channel, but also the most broken. Long wait times, rigid IVRs, low automation, and poor handoffs create frustration on both sides of the line. Gradium is rebuilding voice from the ground up with proprietary models: real-time understanding, autonomous resolution, and seamless escalation when humans matter most.

We're a team of world-class talent, with initial traction and a clear belief: voice will be the next major frontier of applied AI. We recently raised a $100m seed round and are backed by top-tier investors. Our goal is not incremental improvement: it's to make AI-powered voice interactions feel reliable, scalable, and economically transformative.

Expect early-stage reality: high autonomy, fast decisions, unreasonable ambition, few handoffs, and very little process unless it earns its place.

About the role

You will run full-cycle deals at Gradium, from first contact to close. Today the go-to-market motion is led by the founders and a small technical GTM team, and you are one of the first dedicated sellers to carry a number and turn that founder-led motion into a repeatable one. You'll work closely with the Head of Sales and the founders, selling a technically differentiated voice product to a technical buyer.

This is a build role as much as a selling role, and it exists at the inflection point where founder-led selling stops scaling. You'll close deals, but you'll also help shape the qualification, the technical evaluation, and the playbook that the next reps inherit.

What You'll Do

  • Close full-cycle deals. Own the deal end to end: prospect, qualify, run the technical evaluation, negotiate, and close. You carry a number and you hit it.

  • Sell to a technical buyer. Hold a credible conversation with developers and technical decision-makers about how the product is evaluated and integrated. You earn trust by understanding what you're selling, not by talking around it.

  • Own your pipeline and forecast. Build and manage your own pipeline, and forecast honestly. The team plans around your call, so your number means something.

  • Turn wins into a playbook. Codify what's working (messaging, qualification, objection handling) into something repeatable, so the motion compounds as the team grows.

  • Be the voice of the customer. Feed structured signal from the field back to product and pricing. You're the shortest path between what buyers need and what we build.

What we are looking for

  • 4 to 6 years in SaaS or tech sales. Ideally with exposure to AI, generative AI, LLM-based products, or API platforms.

  • Proven at hitting quota in high-velocity startups. You have a clear track record of meeting and beating targets in a fast-paced, fast-cycle environment, and you can point to deals you sourced, ran, and closed yourself.

  • Credible selling to technical buyers. You've sold technical solutions to product, engineering, or innovation teams, and you can run the technical evaluation without leaning entirely on a sales engineer.

  • All-in on voice AI. You already know voice AI or you're hungry to learn everything about it, and you'll build your own demos to move deals forward.

  • Excellent communicator and relationship builder. You build and keep trust with stakeholders at every level of an organization.
