About Gradium
Gradium is a frontier voice AI company on a mission to redefine how humans interact with machines.
Voice remains the most human, highest-stakes channel, but also the most broken. Long wait times, rigid IVRs, low automation, and poor handoffs create frustration on both sides of the line. Gradium is rebuilding voice from the ground up with proprietary models: real-time understanding, autonomous resolution, and seamless escalation when humans matter most.
We're a team of world-class talent, with initial traction and a clear belief: voice will be the next major frontier of applied AI. We recently raised a $100m seed round and are backed by top-tier investors. Our goal is not incremental improvement: it's to make AI-powered voice interactions feel reliable, scalable, and economically transformative.
Expect early-stage reality: high autonomy, fast decisions, unreasonable ambition, few handoffs, and very little process unless it earns its place.
The role
First marketing hire at Gradium. You will build the marketing function for a technical, developer audience in B2B AI. This is a hands-on role: you own the positioning, messaging, stack, and process, and you do the execution yourself. In practice that means owning product marketing and positioning, writing technical content and website copy, running acquisition campaigns, and driving demand for the sales motion as it ramps.
Your focus is demand generation: building developer and buyer interest that feeds both self-serve signups and the sales motion. You will work closely with the founders and the product team to turn what Gradium ships into content and acquisition for a technical audience.
What you will do
Own positioning and product marketing for a technical product: the messaging, the narrative, and how Gradium is described to a developer audience.
Generate demand. Own the acquisition channels (SEO, SEA, and generative engine optimization, including how LLMs like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and AI Overviews cite content), with budget, experimentation, and measured results.
Produce the content that carries it: blog posts, technical deep-dives, tutorials, case studies, and website copy. Write the high-signal pieces yourself and build a repeatable system (briefs, contributors, repurposing) for the rest.
Run the website and editorial calendar: landing pages, content hubs, developer-docs positioning, and distribution across search, AI answers, and social.
Support the sales motion as it ramps in SF: pipeline for the sales team, account-based campaigns, and sales-enablement content.
Own marketing reporting: what is working, by channel and by motion.
What we are looking for
Technical B2B product background: you have worked at a company with a technical product (API, AI, infra).
You grew up in a small-to-mid-size company on a fast growth trajectory.
Hands-on and execution-first: you write content and run an editorial calendar yourself.
You have built marketing from scratch before: messaging, stack, and process, not just optimized an existing setup.
You can speak to developers: you understand the dev world and the right register, and you do not produce corporate marketing that alienates a technical audience.
PLG sensibility: you understand product-led growth and self-serve developer adoption.
Demand generation and pipeline: you have generated qualified demand and worked alongside a sales team, not only self-serve growth.
International exposure: you have worked in a company with an international product culture.
Comfortable in the marketing stack: analytics, tracking, CRM, and paid.
Nice to have
Engineering background or technical training.
Experience working with technical influencers or content partnerships.
Experience in Voice AI
